Lazer Lite hard tonneau cover

14 August 2007 »

Pictures of my 2005 Nissan Frontier before and after I installed a Lazer Lite hard tonneau cover.

Update: I’ve moved most of my photos over to Flickr. You can see higher resolution shots of my truck there.

Ew. All the better to store my DAS in when she gets fresh. :)

So after two years, how was the lazer lite tonneau cover? Did it hold up ok? I’m thinking about getting one for my frontier. They look nice.

    Hi Wounds,

So far so good. The only downside I’ve seen is that the struts that lift the cover don’t push it up very far.

As you can see in the pictures, it can be difficult to reach in to the part of the bed that is closest to the cab when reaching from the side.

Other than that, quality is great. It’s easy to lift off when you have a second person with you (it’s light, but bulky so you can’t do it yourself).

Thanks for the update. I’m pretty sure I’ll be pulling the trigger shortly on the purchase.

I bought this cover in late 2007 for my ford – the cover after 3 years was showing signs of the paint fading badly.

would not recommend it if you keep your truck for very long

    Hi Doug,

I’ve had mine since July 2007, so about 4 and a half years now. While the truck has been garaged for most of the last 2 years, the cover is still in great shape.
